Does not run under Crossover on Linux system

I was unable to evaluate the windows version of this because it does not run under Crossover on a Linux system.

I had some swf files generated as animated logos from GRSites.com. I wanted to turn them into gif anims because a gif anim is better suited to the website I am designing. I also went to my OSX Mac and downloaded the trial version. This did install - however it reported that the GRSites swf files were deformed and it could not export any of the frames. So I guess I will have to make my gif anims from scratch.

Can not say for sure how it works...

... because I couldn't get it to work. It installed fine and it opened fine. I entered the video I wanted to convert and clicked for it to do the conversion but then I got a "run time" error "0". I also tried a similar product that does the same type of conversion and got a similar error at the same time in the process. So there is something on my computer that is not working. Any help would be appreciated.
